This 7-day tour from Chengdu’s cultural hub to Jiuzhaigou’s stunning scenery calls in at all the highlights such as Panda Base, Dujiangyan, Mount Qingcheng, and Sanxingdui Museum, before pushing on to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou for multicoloured lakes and mountain landscapes. It’s a great mix of history, nature, and R&R perfect for first-timers in Sichuan.

Day1 | Airport Pickup in chengdu

• Welcome to Chengdu, the Land of Abundance. We’ll arrange airport pick up and take you to your hotel for a rest.

Day2 l Du Fu Thatched cottage-Wuhou Shrine
-Heming Teahouse

• Morning: Visit Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the former residence of the renowned poet Du Fu, and experience the charm of Tang Dynasty poetry.
• Afternoon: After lunch, head to Wuhou Shrine to learn about the history of the Three Kingdoms and Shu Han culture.
• Afternoon: Enjoy tea at Heming Teahouse, experience Chengdu’s teaculture, and try the traditional ear-cleaning technique.Stroll through Kuanzhai Alleys and (optional) enjoy a Sichuan operaface-changing performance, experiencing the unique charm of this traditionalart and Chengdu’s relaxed pace of life.

Day3 Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding-Sanxingdui Museum

• Morning: Visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see adorable giant pandas and learn about their habits and conservation efforts
• Afternoon: After lunch, head to the Sanxingdui Museum to explore the ancient Shu civilization and its fascinating history.
• Evening: Return to your hotel in Chengdu for the night

Day4| Dujiangyan-Mount Qingcheng

• Morning: Visit the Dujiangyan irrigation System, a 2,000-year-old engineering marvel still in operation today, and discover its ingenious design.
• Afternoon: Explore Mount Qingcheng, immerse yourself in Taoist culture and enjoy the serene beauty of the mountain.
• Evening: Return to your hotel in Chengdu for the night.

Day5 | Chengdu-Huanglong

• Morning: Take a high-speed train to Jiuzhaigou (approx. 2-3 hours) and enjoy the natural scenery of western Sichuan along the way
• Afternoon: Visit Huanglong Scenic Area and marvel at its colorful calcified pools.

Day6 | JIUZHAIGOU DAY TOUR

• All Day: Explore the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, visiting breathtaking spotslike Five-Color Pool, Nuorilang Waterfall, and Five-Flower Lake.

Day7 JIUZHAIGOU-CHENGDU-AIRPORT TRANSFER
